Dhaka, March 4 -- Two Bangladeshi expatriates from Italy have died after their motorcycle collided with a covered van of Pran Group in Chandpur.

The accident occurred in front of Baliak High School in the Puran Bazar area of the town around 10:00 pm on Monday, said Officer-in-Charge Md Bahar Mia of Chandpur Sadar Model Police Station on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Md Abhi Dewan (18) and Md Niloy Mia (20). According to family sources, both of them lived in Italy with their guardians. Niloy was Abhi's maternal cousin.

Abhi was the son of Abdus Salam Dewan, and Niloy was the son of Md Selim Hossain from the same area, UNB reports.
