Dhaka, Feb. 10 -- At least two people were killed and 15 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses in Sathia upazila of Pabna district on Tuesday.

Police said the accident occurred around 7:30 am near the Sholabarhia Bridge at Madhpur on the Pabna-Dhaka Highway under Ataikula Police Station in the upazila.

Madhpur Highway Police chief (OC) Mustafizar Rahman said a Shahjadpur Travels bus was heading to Dhaka from Pabna in the morning. Near the Sholabarhia Bridge, it collided head-on with a Machhranga Paribahan bus coming from the opposite direction.

One person died on the spot, and several others were injured in the accident, reports bdnews24.com.

Police and locals rescued the injured and sent them to different hospitals....
