Dhaka, Sept. 1 -- Two Bangladeshi migrant workers have been killed after a pickup van overturned in the Kuala Lipis district in Pahang state of Malaysia.
The deceased were identified as Tuhin Ali (26), son of Shukuruddin Kalu from Gopalnagar village, and Shamim Reza (24), son of Md. Kabil from Nosibandi Nagar village in Gomastapur upazila of Chapainawabganj. Both were employed at a palm plantation in Malaysia.
The incident took place in the area around 3:00 pm on Sunday while the workers were travelling to their accommodation in a pickup van. The vehicle overturned while trying to avoid a motorcycle on a hilly curve. The two workers died at the spot.
