Dhaka, Feb. 10 -- Senior officials at Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of Bangladesh have vowed to seize funds in the UK from Britain's former Treasury minister Tulip Siddiq as part of their initiative to repatriate the money which was siphoned off from Bangladesh by her aunt Sheikh Hasina's despotic regime.
Akhtar Hossain, the ACC's director general, told British newspaper The Telegraph that they have started liaising with 'multiple countries' over investigations into the family of Sheikh Hasina, the former prime minister of Bangladesh.
Investigators from the ACC had requested information from between 10 and 12 countries as part of investigations into Hasina and with her family, according to The Times.
