Dhaka, May 5 -- A Dhaka court has banned former Air Force chief Shaikh Abdul Hannan and three members of his family from travelling out of Bangladesh.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib issued the order on Monday after the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a plea seeking the ban, reports bdnews24.com.
Those barred from travelling abroad include Hannan's wife Tahmida Begum, son Shaikh Labib Hannan, and daughter Sanjida Akter.
ACC spokesperson Akhtarul Islam said Deputy Director Tanjir Hasib Sarkar submitted the application on behalf of the anti-graft agency.
