Dhaka, Oct. 31 -- The train communication between Dhaka and Mymensingh resumed after suspending it for four hours following derailment of Mohonganj express near Joydebpur junction at 2:00 pm Friday.
A rear compartment of Mymensingh bound Mohonganj express left from Dhaka derailed when it reached Joydebpur junction at 2pm, said M Quiyum Ali, sub-inspector of Joydebpur Railway Junction police outpost, reports BSS.
The railway communication on the route became normal at around 6pm after conducting rescue operation for four hours.
The train carrying several hundred passengers on board left the capital for Mohonganj of Netrokona and all of a sudden its left wheel of power car compartment derailed when it reached near Joydebpur Junction.
