Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain today (Tuesday) urged Georgia to enroll more Bangladeshi students in higher education institutions in that east European nation.
A foreign ministry press release said the adviser made the request when Georgian ambassador to Bangladesh based in New Delhi paid his first courtesy call on him at his office, BSS reports.
During their meeting, it said, the adviser and the ambassador acknowledged the importance of further strengthening the relationship between Bangladesh and Georgia, which is grounded in shared values, principles, and mutual understanding.
They expressed their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties across various areas of shared interest.
