Dhaka, Dec. 27 -- Three members of a family have been killed after an ambulance collided head-on with a truck in Faridpur.
Two others were injured in the accident that occurred around 7:30 am on Saturday in the Munsurabad area on the Bhanga-Khulna highway, according to Bhanga Highway Police Station chief (OC) Helal Uddin.
The dead were identified as Rukaiya Akhtar Neela, 32, her husband Mizanur Rahman, 40, and her brother Sakibur Rahman Nishan, 27, all natives of Jashore, bdnews24.com reports.
The ambulance driver Krishna Das, 55, was critically injured. Another passenger travelling in the ambulance was also seriously hurt, though police said their identity had not yet been confirmed.
