Dhaka, Feb. 21 -- Three people have been killed and another injured after a pickup truck collided head-on with a CNG-run autorickshaw in Moulvibazar Sadar.

The crash occurred around 1:45am on Saturday in Giasnagar Shahpur along the Dhaka-Moulvibazar road, according to Moulvibazar Model Police Station chief (OC) Saiful Islam.

The dead have been identified as autorickshaw driver Alinur, and passengers Rubel Mia and Rehan Mia, reports bdnews24.com.

Police and local residents said a Sreemangal-bound autorickshaw crashed into a pickup coming from the opposite direction.

The autorickshaw driver and a passenger died at the scene.
