Dhaka, July 24 -- Three people were killed and 11 others injured in a clash between two groups over a land dispute in Bhondorchar village in Rowmari upazila of Kurigram district on Thursday.

The identities of the deceased and the injured are yet to be confirmed. The injured are rescued and taken to Rowmari Upazila Health Complex.

Lutfor Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rowmari Police Station, said that the clash erupted over a longstanding land dispute, resulting in the deaths of three people.

Police have visited the scene, and the situation is now under control, he said.
