Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin has said the government will revise the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) cards and increase their number to one crore (10 million).

"The government will make necessary corrections to the TCB card system by expanding it to one crore, and the process will be completed as soon as possible," he said.

The adviser made the remark while addressing a view exchange meeting with TCB dealers and other stakeholders at the Khulna deputy commissioner's conference room on Monday, BSS reports.

The adviser emphasised that only those who are genuinely needy and eligible will be included in the TCB card system.
