Dhaka, June 4 -- BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today extended his greetings and congratulations to the countrymen ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha and urged everyone to share the joy of Eid.

In a message, he also wished the Muslims all over the world including Bangladesh for continued happiness and comfort, UNB reports.

"Eid-ul-Azha means the festival of sacrifice. The main theme of this festival is sacrifice. It is said in the holy book, the Al-Quran, neither meat nor blood reaches Allah, but the pure desire of your heart reaches."
