Dhaka, April 20 -- Sumit Podder joins MTB Capital Limited as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a subsidiary of the Mutual Trust Bank PLC, the country's leading commercial bank.

In his long 14-year glorious career, Sumit Podder led Bangladesh Finance Capital Limited as MD and CEO. Before that, he worked as head of the structured finance department at Bangladesh Finance Limited.

He was Head of the Corporate Advisory Services of City Bank Capital Limited, according to a media release.

Moreover, the newly appointed chief executive officer of MTB Capital Limited has worked with River Stone Capital Limited, Alliance Financial Services Limited, and Alliance Securities and Management Limited.
