Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- Students of seven colleges have threatened to suspend all educational activities at their institutions if the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of New Market Police Station, the Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP), and the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Dr. Mamun Ahmed do not resign.

The ultimatum was issued during a press conference in front of the Shaheed Minar at Dhaka College at 6:40 pm on Monday.

Moinul Hossain, a student of Dhaka College, said, "The police have carried out indiscriminate attacks on students at Dhaka College. They must take responsibility for this."
