Dhaka, Dec. 17 -- Standard Chartered Bangladesh, in partnership with Friendship, has launched projects to bring critical healthcare and education support to some of Bangladesh's most isolated char communities, in Bangladesh.
The integrated programme is set to positively impact nearly 100,000 people across remote regions of northern Bangladesh, addressing long-standing gaps in access to essential eyecare, health services and quality education, according to a media release.
Through targeted interventions, thousands of children are now receiving eye care support, enabling them to see clearly and perform better academically, the release says.
