Dhaka, May 16 -- Although the government has announced that it will accept the three-point demands of Jagannath University (JnU) students, a section of the protesters has refused to suspend their movement.

They allege that even after three consecutive days of protest, the authorities have not provided a clear roadmap for fulfilling their demands.

As a result, some students continue their sit-in at the Kakrail Mosque intersection, according to local media.

At 8:30 PM on Friday (May 16), Professor Rais Uddin, General Secretary of the JnU Teachers' Association, announced the suspension of the protest from the demonstration site.
