Dhaka, June 29 -- The complete shutdown at the National Board of Revenue (NBR) continued for a second consecutive day on Sunday, as part of a wider protest demanding logical reforms in the revenue administration and the resignation of the NBR Chairman.
On Saturday, officials and employees under the banner of the NBR Reform Unity Council observed a full-day shutdown across all tax and customs offices in the country, alongside a 'March to NBR' programme.
