Dhaka, Dec. 17 -- The health condition of Inqilab Mancha spokesman Sharif Osman Hadi was stated to be stable on Tuesday after slight deterioration following initial medical tests in Singapore, according to his family sources.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, quoting Sharif Osman Hadi's brother, the Inqilab Mancha said the update was received from Singapore around 3:00 pm on Tuesday.

"While another surgery is required, Hadi's current physical condition does not yet permit the procedure," said the post.

Hadi, also an independent candidate for Dhaka-8 in the upcoming national election was shot in the head on December 12 (Friday) on the Box Culvert Road at Bijoynagar in the capital.
