Dhaka, Nov. 19 -- Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has provided scholarships to 300 poor and meritorious students who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations from different parts of the country, according to a press release.

They are currently studying in the first year of their degree in various public universities, government medical colleges and engineering universities in the country.

There are 150 male and 150 female students among the scholarship recipients.A total of 3,81,00,000.00 (three croreeighty one lac) taka will be provided to the scholarship recipients to complete their courses in four years.

The scholarship cheques were officially distributed at a ceremony organized at the bank's corporate head office on 19 November 2025. ...
