Dhaka, Nov. 11 -- Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday signed the Hajj agreement for 2026, under which 78,500 Bangladeshi pilgrims will be able to perform the pilgrimage next year.

Dr AFM Khalid Hossain, religious affairs adviser and Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, inked the deal on behalf of their respective countries.

Both sides discussed the overall management of the Hajj pilgrimage during the signing ceremony.
