Dhaka, Dec. 9 -- Riad Mahmud, Managing Director, National Polymer Industries PLC, has recently been elected as the President of the Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies (BAPLC) for the term 2026-2027.

Engr. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, Managing Director, Saiham Cotton Mills Ltd elected as Vice President of the BAPLC, said in a press release on Tuesday.

The election was held recently under the supervision of the Election Board as per the election schedule & BAPLC election Rules in conformity with Trade Organisation Rules, 2025.

BAPLC is the top body of the Companies listed with the Stock Exchanges of Bangladesh.
