Dhaka, June 13 -- BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that both the proposed reforms and the July Charter will be finalised through consensus among the BNP and other political parties.

He made the comments while speaking to reporters at The Dorchester hotel in London on Monday morning, following a meeting between BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.

Asked about the July Charter, Chowdhury said discussions were ongoing. "We have already agreed to finalise the July Charter," he added.

On the reform agenda, he said: "We will proceed with both reforms and the July Charter through consensus. Any decision will be based on mutual agreement."
