Dhaka, March 13 -- The Dhaka Metropolitan Police is instituting a ban on all forms of rallies, gatherings, public meetings, marches, and processions at the Bangladesh Secretariat, the chief advisor's official residence, the State Guest House Jamuna and nearby areas.
The decision was announced in a public notice signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sazzat Ali on Thursday. The ban will continue indefinitely until further notice, as per a UNB report.
