Dhaka, March 23 -- Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday forecasted that rain is likely to occur at one or two places over three divisions for the next 24 hours beginning from this morning.

"Rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country", said the forecast begins from 9:00 am.

A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, reports BSS.

The BMD forecasted that day temperatures may rise slightly and night temperatures may fall slightly during this period.
