Dhaka, April 23 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday forecasted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind in some districts across the country for the next 120 hours, commencing from 9:00 am.

"Rain or thundershowers with lightning and temporary gusty winds are likely in a few places over the Sylhet division and in one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Dhaka divisions, as well as the Cumilla and Noakhali regions," said Meteorologist Afruza Sultana.

The Met Office said a trough of low lies over West Bengal to North Bay across the southwestern part of Bangladesh, reports BSS.

Day and night temperatures may rise slightly over the country, the BMD predicted.
