Dhaka, March 17 -- Bangladesh Railway's temporary workers (TLR) today called off their work abstention after getting assurance of payment of their outstanding arrears by Sunday next (March 23).

The agitating representatives of the railway's temporary workers made the announcement at the Rail Bhaban here today (Monday), BSS reports citing a press release.

The TLR (Temporary Labor Recruitment) is a system used by the Bangladesh Railway to employ in the vacant posts

Earlier, Railways Ministry Secretary Md. Fahimul Islam assured the agitating TLR workers of paying all their arrears by next March 23 (Sunday).
