Dhaka, May 12 -- Reinforcing its commitment to financial inclusion and agricultural development, Prime Bank held an Open Agri Credit Disbursement and Training Program in Birol, Dinajpur, engaging 150 farmers, including both existing borrowers and potential clients from nearby areas.
The event aimed to facilitate easy access to credit and strengthen farmers' capacity in maize cultivation, a key crop in the region, according to a media release.
The session featured expert training by Mustafizur Rahman Shah, Senior Scientific Officer at the Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute (BWMRI).
