Dhaka, Dec. 2 -- The price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder has been re-fixed at Tk 1,253 for the month of December, up by Tk 38 from the previous month's price of Tk 1,215.

The new price will be effective from 6 pm today (Tuesday).

Prices of other sizes of LPG cylinders - from 5.5 kg to 45 kg - will increase accordingly, the BERC said at a press briefing at the BERC office in Dhaka.

The price of 'auto gas' (LPG used for motor vehicles) has been adjusted to Tk 57.32 from Tk 55.58 (including VAT) per litre, as per the announcement of the BERC.
