Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- President Mohammad Shahabuddin has accepted the resignation of Md Nahid Islam from the posts of Advisor to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology of the interim government.

He accepted the resignation letter today.

Earlier, on Tuesday, Nahid Islam submitted his resignation letter to the Chief Advisor to the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

Nahid is the convener of the new political party that is going to emerge under the leadership of the youth.
