Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- Police personnel deployed at polling centres for the 13th National Parliamentary Elections and referendum tomorrow will wear hidden cameras as part of enhanced security measures, the Election Commission (EC) said on Wednesday.

The information was disclosed in a statement signed by EC Director (Public Relations) M. Ruhul Amin Mallik, reports BSS.

According to the statement, the EC will continuously monitor polling centres through closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras. In addition, drones will be used to monitor surrounding areas.

The commission said all activities aimed at creating disorder or anarchy will be recorded, and strict action will be taken against those involved.
