Dhaka, June 5 -- Police arrested 62 people from city's Tejgaon area for their alleged involvement in criminal activities on Wednesday.

Some of them were arrested in connection with cases filed for snatching, terrorism and drug peddling, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Media and Public Relations Division Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman said.

The arrestees were produced before the court.
