Dhaka, Feb. 3 -- The government has initiated a comprehensive performance audit for the "Responsive COVID-19 Vaccine for Recovery Project" under the Asia Pacific Access Facility (APVAX).

This audit, scheduled for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, will assess the efficiency and compliance of vaccine-related recovery operations across multiple districts.

On Jan 20, the director general (DG) of the Foreign Aided Projects Audit Directorate issued an order to begin the audit process.

A high-level, six-member team has been formed to carry out the audit under Sector-02. The team will be led by Nazrul Islam Majumdar, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer, who will serve as the team leader.
