Dhaka, July 10 -- The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) rescued two Bangladeshi expatriates after 41 days of their abduction in Libya and arrested two persons from Rajshahi and Bagerhat districts.

Due to the intense efforts made by the PBI personnel, the kidnappers left the victims Alamgir Hossain (45) and Siraj Uddin (35) near Zilzia Hospital in Tripoli area of Libya on February 18 last after kidnapped from a workshop at Jamajitan area under Tripoli in Libya on January 8 last, BSS reports citing a press release.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) took the victims under their custody and sent one of them, Alamgir to Bangladesh under the supervision of BRAC Migration.
