Dhaka, Sept. 25 -- Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has invited Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus to visit Pakistan during a meeting held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly at the UN Headquarters on Wednesday (local time).

The two leaders discussed ways to enhance economic relations between the countries by expanding existing bilateral trade, Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam told reporters after the meeting, UNB reports.

At the start of the discussion, Prof Yunus expressed his condolences to the victims of the recent severe floods in Pakistan.

Sharif noted that the disaster was largely due to climate change and other factors.
