Dhaka, Feb. 13 -- Nurul Haque Nur has been unofficially declared elected from the Patuakhali-3 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

According to unofficial results, the BNP alliance candidate secured 73,934 votes with the truck symbol.

His nearest rival, who contested with the horse symbol, received 47,950 votes.

The results were obtained from unofficial counts following the completion of vote tallying.

However, the outcome will be confirmed formally after the Election Commission publishes the official gazette notification.
