Dhaka, March 19 -- The first meeting of the newly constituted Board of Directors of NRBC Bank was held at the bank's head office on Wednesday, according to a press release.

Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania, the new Independent Director and Chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting. Md. Abul Bashar, Md. Anwar Hossain, Md. Nurul Haque, Barrister Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Professor Dr. Syed Abul Kalam Azad, and Muhammad Emdad Ullah, FCA, Independent Directors, Md. Rabiul Islam, Managing Director (C.C.), Kabir Ahmed and Harunur Rashid, DMD, Mohammad Ahsan Habib, Company Secretary of the Bank attended the meeting.
