Dhaka, Aug. 24 -- Distribution of nomination papers for the election of Rajshahi University Central Students Union (RUCSU), Hall Council and Student Representatives to Senate began on Sunday.

Professor Setaur Rahman remained engaged as the chief returning officer while Prof Nurul Momen, Prof Mahmudul Hassan, Prof Shamima Nasrin, Prof Abdul Khaleque and Prof Mahbubul Islam as returning officers and they are supervising the distribution work, reports BSS.

Earlier on August 19, a final voter list was published for the upcoming RUCSU and other relevant elections.

In the list, there are 25,152 students, including 15,468 females, who are eligible to exercise their rights of franchise in the students' body election of the public university. ...
