Dhaka, July 13 -- Convener of National Citizens Party (NCP) Nahid Islam on Sunday categorically said that there would be no election in the country without reforms.

"The people of the country came to the street due to limitless torture and harassment perpetrated by Sheikh Hasina and later they ousted the fascist Hasina's government through July-August mass upsurge," he said.

Nahid Islam made this remarks while addressing a street rally at local Shaheed Minar on the 13th day of July March. The NCP Pirojpur district unit organized the rally, reports BSS.

Earlier, the leaders and workers of the NCP started the July March from Pirojpur Circuit House and addressed the rally after reaching at the Shaheed Minar premises.
