Dhaka, Nov. 9 -- Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul on Sunday said there is no reason for confusion over the upcoming parliamentary election.

He said the interim government is fully committed to holding the election in early February, and all necessary measures will be taken to ensure a festive and peaceful atmosphere during the polls, reports BSS.

Dr Asif Nazrul made the remarks while replying to questions from journalists after a views-exchange meeting with judges at the Legal Aid Office in the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court Building this morning.
