Dhaka, March 30 -- This year's Eid journey was free from black-market ticket sales, as strict monitoring prevented any syndicates from operating, said Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd) Jahangir Alam.
Speaking at a press briefing after inspecting Kamalapur Railway Station on Sunday (March 30), he said, "Every year, ticket scalping syndicates emerge during Eid, often involving railway staff. However, this time, no one dared to engage in such activities due to heightened surveillance."
