Dhaka, Feb. 5 -- Ruhul Amin, executive director (ED) of Bangladesh Bank (BB), was suspended as the 'receiver' at the leading manufacturer Beximco Group.

Following the suspension, another executive director of the central bank, Khasru Parvez, was appointed as the receiver for the group on Tuesday.

Bangladesh Bank's spokesperson and executive director Arif Hossain Khan confirmed the media about the decisions.

Ruhul Amin was appointed for the post in November as per an order of the High Court.
