Dhaka, June 2 -- Nestle Bangladesh PLC, a Switzerland-originated Company, is set to launch a cereal-based fortifier under the brand name Nestle PushtiGrow+, aimed at combating malnutrition among children aged 5 to 9 years in Bangladesh. Following extensive deliberation and collaboration from Nestle, the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), the apex and largest multi-disciplinary government research organisation in Bangladesh, has developed this cereal-based fortifier to address micronutrient deficiencies in this age group. Nestle believes that this innovative product will provide affordable nutrition accessible to all socio-economic groups.
