Dhaka, May 24 -- The National Citizen Party, or NCP, has demanded that the trial of those involved in atrocities during the July uprising, reforms process, particularly formulating the July Charter, and preparations for national elections be run parallelly.

The demand was raised during a meeting between Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus and an NCP delegation at the chief adviser's official residence, Jamuna, on Saturday evening.
