Dhaka, July 23 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has expanded the list of goods eligible for transfer, unstuffing, and delivery through privately operated Inland Container Depots (ICDs) and off-docks approved by Chattogram Customs House.

The revenue-collecting authority took the decision in a move to streamline import-export operations and ease congestion at the Chattogram Port, UNB reports.

Recognising the critical importance of uninterrupted international trade and efficient port operations, the NBR periodically updates the list of import goods permitted for off-dock handling based on real-time operational needs and stakeholder input, according to the NBR.
