Dhaka, July 2 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has amended the existing Baggage Rules to make it more effective and passenger-friendly.
The updated Baggage Rules for Non-Tourist Passengers, 2025, issued on June 2, 2025, came into effect from today, BSS reports citing an NBR press release.
After taking into consideration the feedback from various stakeholders and field offices, the NBR has introduced amendments through SRO No. 312-Law/2025/102/Customs dated 02/07/25, particularly increasing the benefits for Bangladeshi expatriates.
