Dhaka, Feb. 13 -- Muhammad Badiuzzaman Didar, the administrator of the mobile financial service provider Nagad, on Wednesday came under attack on Road Number 12 in the capital's Banani.
The incident took place at about 4:30 pm after he said to the media that preliminary findings indicated Nagad was involved in the illegal transfer of Tk 17 billion and irregularities involving Tk 6.45 billion in e-money transactions without maintaining required cash reserve.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) conducted a drive at the Nagad's head office on the same day at 2 pm before he spoke to the media.
Talking to the FE, Mr Didar said after finishing his work at office, he was moving to Gulshan to pick up his wife before going home.
