Dhaka, Dec. 23 -- Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) arranged the Annual Trade Based Compliance Conference 2025 on December 6, 2025 to create awareness on key deliverables for prevention of Trade Based Money Laundering.

The conference was held for MTB Officials relevant to Trade Servicing from Branches and Corporate Head Offices, according to a press release.

More than 100 participants attended; in addition, around 300 participants attended virtually.

The event was graced by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD & CEO of MTB as chief guest.

Dr. Shah Md. Ahsan Habib, Professor, Selection Grade, Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) enlightened the participant as guest lecturer.
