Dhaka, Feb. 8 -- Seven people involved in the attack and vandalism at the Gazipur home of former Liberation War affairs minister AKM Mozammel Haque have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with injuries after they were attacked by locals.

Md Faruk, the officer in charge at the DMCH Police Outpost said that seven people had been brought to the hospital's emergency department and are receiving treatment, reports bdnews24.com.

Five of the injured have been identified as 16-year-old Shuvo Shahriar from Gazipur's Sign Board area, 24-year-old Yakub and 17-year-old Kashem from Gacha Thana, 22-year-old Sourav from Tongi East Thana, and 22-year-old Hasan from Gazipur Sadar Thana. The two others have yet to be identified.
