Dhaka, Feb. 4 -- Mohammod Khourshed Alam has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of AkijBashir Group.

Prior to this promotion, he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Akij Building Materials.

Mr Alam has more than 24 years of professional experience across the pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, building materials, and financial inclusion sectors, with extensive expertise in sales, marketing, distribution, trade marketing, and customer service.

He previously served as Director (Sales & Marketing) at Akij Ceramics and Director of Sales & Marketing at Akij Particle Board Mills Ltd.
