Dhaka, Dec. 2 -- The Mobile Business Community Bangladesh (MBCB), Jamuna Future Park branch, has announced an indefinite closure of the shopping mall's mobile market, effective from Tuesday.

Traders said they made the decision after receiving no response from the government despite repeated calls for discussions over issues related to the National Equipment Identity Registrar (NEIR).

As per the announcement, traders will hold a human chain in front of Jamuna Future Park at 1:00 pm on Tuesday while keeping their shops closed.

Based on the situation and the outcome of the demonstration, they will declare fresh programmes for Wednesday.
